The Thing to Wear: Knot Headbands

I’m not sure what it is but lately my feed and the people on the streets around me have all be filled with knotted headbands. This headband really isn’t a new trend. I remember calling in tons and tons years ago for various shoots. It came in hard with all of the Gossip girl excitement when Jennifer Behr was the “IT” headband. And then it just sort of never fully faded out. But for some reason it has just had a major surge and I’m not mad at it. At first I thought, oh man I’m not sure I could really rock one of these in real life without looking like I was trying to hard. I’m pretty extra sometimes but not that extra. And then one day I was like, hey I’m trying it. I have a peanut head that usually doesn’t work well with headwear but who cares I’m doing it! So I bought about 10 of them to give them a try throughout a week of my normal life. Grocery store runs, post gym coffee dates, brunch and work all mixed pretty well with the satin, leopard and bold green that I tried. I think it’s safe to say that this is my new favorite, not so new trend!
